Dark Souls "Bartholomew" trailer reminds us we're going to die

Namco Bandai and FromSoftware have released yet another trailer for the upcoming action RPG Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to 2009’s Demon’s Souls.

In addition to artistic, many-short-clips-set-to-music direction, the video mostly reassures players that the game will be difficult. They don’t mean just any sort of difficult, though. They mean giant wolves wielding broadswords in their mouths, behemoth warriors made of many smaller skeletons, dragon-sized ravens who act rather aggressively, dragons, and hulking, flaming spiders, among other things.

Prepare to die: that’s about all that can be said about this trailer. We’re all fairly certain that plenty of dying will indeed be happening, come October 4.
