New Battlefield 3 'Get That Wire Cut' trailer shows tense action

The thrid trailer is once again intense.

A new trailer for EA and DICE’s Battlefield 3 has hit the web and showcases more of the realistic tension, anxiety, and fear that can come with being a soldier in the midst of war.

The video starts off with the player crawling through air ducts in order to investigate a mysterious wire found by the squad, believed to trace back to some sort of bomb. Once the device is found, the player is ambushed into a one-on-one, hand-to-hand struggle against and enemy combatant.

Afterward, the trailer cuts to an intense firefight in the middle of the Middle East warzone complete with explosions and helicopters.

Battlefield 3 is currently set for a fourth-quarter 2011 release for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Be sure to check out the trailer for yourself below.
