Still want more Guitar Hero? If you were in London today, you would have been able to meet the president and founder of RedOctane, Kai Huang. He showed up in London riding in a custom made Guitar Hero publicity bus and announced that Guitar Hero III will be on its merry way to consoles just before the merry Christmas season begins. A DS version will be available sometime early next year.
Huang said that GH III will be going cross platform and will adorn the game consoles of the Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3. They'll be some new wireless guitar controllers for wannabe rock stars "so that fans can finally rock out in their living room and jump off their couches and do all that crazy rock star stuff."
He continued, "We've got a lot of songs and artists still that we would love to have, in particular, we've been trying to get Metallica, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin, so hopefully sometime in the near future, my wish, and everybody's wish will come true and we can get some of their music in the game."
What, no Dixie Chicks? Just kidding...
