Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Announced

Activision and Neversoft announced the next game in their long-running Tony Hawk skateboarding franchise -- Tony Hawk Proving Ground.

New locations include Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C. and new features include a deeper character customization system, a video editor to create your own skate videos, a fully customizable online "Skate Lounge" where players can skate with pals (including skating from single player to online seamlessly), new gameplay mechanics (skateable terrain altering and building and Bowl Carving) and more Nail the Trick moves (Nail the Grab and Nail the Manual).

The game will be released this fall for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.
