Guitar Hero enthusiasts should get ready to don their axes and crazy hair wigs because Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s will be hitting stores on July 24th for the PlayStation 2.
In addition, Activision announced the last of the game's tracks, which brings the total to 30.

Rocks the 80s will represent Harmonix's last entry in the Guitar Hero series because they'll be jumping from this stage to EA's Rock Band series. Activision's Neversoft will continue development on Guitar Hero III.
So get ready to rock! I'm a fan of metal so seeing Judas Priest, Dio, Iron Maiden and Anthrax in the list made me all giddy inside.

Annoyed they're tributing Radar Love to white lion as it was originally done in the 70's by Dutch legends Golden Earring. Also annoyed at The Sweet's Ballroom Blitz being attributed to Krokus.
Looks like I'm going to be giving the GH crew a good hard slap for not saving those for a 70's expansion.

Bluseychris, you obviously don't expand your mind, for the versions of those songs there using is a COVER of the original. Yes i like golden Earring, but this isnt there version, so yeah. its also like "You Really Got me" was not really done by Van Halen originally, so yeah. OWNED.
