According to MCV, Rockstar has received the go-ahead to release Manhunt 2 in the US this October.
The ESRB granted the game an M rating after an appeal by Rockstar - and after Rockstar submitted a modified version.
The game was originally rated AO back in June, which led to Sony and Nintendo blocking the release of the game, as per their company policies.
Now that Manhunt 2 is cleared for release, expect Jack Thompson to switch gears back to Rockstar's upcoming title - especially with the mainstream media falling in love with Bioshock.
As of now, there's no word on what exactly Rockstar modified in order to lower the rating, but once they reveal that (if ever) we'll be sure to let you know.

COOLEST PICTURE EVER
It was until I fixed it to the one that was SUPPOSED to be there :)
Will Jacko really be able to attack Manhunt 2 directly? Wasn't that a stipulation of the dropped charges against him?
As for the rating, I would REALLY like to know exactly how things have been changed to get the M rating.
I want to know what changed as well.
