While the Xbox 360 crowd is giddy from the release of Bioshock, PS3 hopefuls just got some bad news. According to info gathered by Joystiq , Ken Levine, the lead designer of the game says that there is no PS3 version coming or in development. You can pull out your crying towels now.
Levine said, "I promise you, there is no secret plan about the PS3 that we're keeping from people. There's no PS3 development going on that we're hiding. There's lots of stuff that gets into game code, plans change over time and we got an exclusive deal with Microsoft..."
Although there's no development for Bioshock for a PS3 version at the moment, it doesn't necessarily mean that there will never be a port to the PS3. But time will tell if this will ever come about.
However, with many companies siding with the Xbox 360 because of it's proven track record and extensive user base, Sony has a long climb uphill to convince developers to make exclusives for the machine. (read: more sales)

Are there people on this planet who own just a PS3? It's weird, but I really don't think anyone is very distraught over this.
there's gotta be a few... otherwise there would be a few less websites out there... (i forget the name of that one in particular... but i thought gamernode did a few stories about it before...)
