Gamers come in all shapes, colors, creeds, sizes and ages. Take for instance, the residents at the Sunrise retirement home in Birmingham, England. You won't find your typical bingo games, checkers or chess there.
No not by a long shot. What you will find there are retirees well past their 70's, with some even in their 90's, playing Wii Sports.
These hardcore hell raisers compete against each other to get the high scores and dominance in Wii bowling, tennis, golf and the other sports modules in the game. And the best part of all this? They get to do in in the comfort of the warm indoors without having to travel too far from their residence.
Gladys Harrington explained why she liked playing Wii Sports so much. "It's easy to operate and you don't have to rely on partners to score, you get your own score."
Game fever broke out in the retirement home after the chef of the home brought in his Wii to show everyone.

Dude, awesome.
I just noticed that the person in the photo is holding on to the Wii strap with her other hand instead of wearing it around her wrist. I bet you she's playing Wii tennis.
Edgebaston, sound about right. Though it said Erdington for a minute, i was going to say they should have UZI's and AK's.
The retirement age by the time i retire will be about 95, so i won't know what a Nintendo Wii is........lol.
