A quick update on the official PlayStation blog reveals that the PS3 title Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction has hit a slight delay. Originally planned for release on October 23rd, the game will now ship one week later on October 30th. (And if you decide to dress up as either Ratchet or Clank for Halloween, then you're a much more hardcore gamer than me.)
With that said, the game has also officially gone gold, which means the game's developer, Insomniac Games, has completed development on the game. Even though there's a tiny delay, it's just a week later, so no worries.
Unfortunately, the planned demo has hit a small delay too. Originally planned for release on October 4th, the demo will now debut on October 11th via PSN. Details of the demo are as follows:
"The demo will be of Metropolis, the signature level in the Ratchet & Clank franchise. Well, it was the signature level... before we blew it to bits in this demo."

The one franchise that might make me buy a PS3 someday...MGS what?R&C FTW!
i hear you rtanger!
r&c 1 was the best game i ever played for ps2, and certainly at least one of the best ive played in a long time.
I haven't played the originals of this, I'll have to see what the buzz is about.
I loved the original ratchet and clank....i should get around the playing the others...
Yeah im still waiting for the ps3 to come back from being borrowed but i will most likely end up getting this game lol
Thats's it, i am not buying it now..........lol. I loved all of the other ones on the series, except for Deadlocked (hated it). Can't wait for this one, especially the Dinosaur level.
