October 18th GameTap releases

gametapMove over weekly updates for Xbox Live Arcade, Virtual Console and PSN, here's one for GameTap. This week's new game releases include a jolly ol' Cricket title and a strategy game. As for new free play games, an excellent fourth part in a five adventure series, a classic NES action game and a vampire title were added.

yeah. i checked out the gametap free section after i kept seeing the commercials but there is a catch. those 46 games are all free but they are only available for a limited time. this makes sense because they hope gamers would get hooked on their service and subscribe. hopefully they will continue to cycle games into temporary free periods.
