An Animal Crossing MMO?

MCV reports that the newest rendition of the Animal Crossing franchise due for the Wii will be a massively multiplayer online experience. The original cute cuddly game had a large social aspect to it, where you could exchange gifts and information using in game codes.
Quite lame, but it was a start. The DS version stepped it up and used the Wi-Fi technology to swap info. It's only natural to add the online experience, but full fledged MMO? Whoa.
Get ready for a world of round people and infinite happiness. Think Disney's Small World ride... FOREVER!
