GTA IV release date announced! When it is done...

We all want to know when Grand Theft Auto IV comes out so we can mark our calendars, and make countdowns until release. Then we can just sit there and have wet dreams about how much fun it's going to be. What... that's just me? Screw you guys...
Take-Two Chairman Strauss Zenick spoke at the BMO Capital Markets Interactive Entertainment Conference Tuesday, where he took up a Q&A session about the release date for Grand Theft Auto IV. This is what he had to say:
"We're going to give you a firm release date when we're utterly convinced that we have one, and that isn't right now. We do feel that the title is being developed so that it's going to be fantastic... So I think right now our view is: put out a real quality title... we'll give you a the firm release date when we know we can stick to it."
More tears of joy could not stream down my cheek. It's a relief to see developers of a major franchise who are not only completely honest, but whose goals are to produce the best possible product.
So when is this coming out again?

Actually, DNF is about max 2 years away right now =] Belive it or not. Of course, don't take my word for it, but it's a pretty certain thing. 3DRealms said this, of course following up with that it's just what they hope and it's still WID. Here's hoping!
