Ubisoft announced two game delays in their first-half fiscal year 2007/2008 financial earnings today. Last month, Ubisoft quietly announced four unspecified game delays in their Q3 financial results, so these two new game delays will bump up the number to six delayed titles.
The first game delay is Haze. Originally planned and recently confirmed for a December release, Haze is now slated for release in Q1 2008, which runs from January to March 2008.
The next game delay is for Splinter Cell: Conviction. It looks like the game has been entirely removed from Ubisoft's 2007 fiscal year and won't be released till Ubisoft's 2008 fiscal year, which begins on April 1, 2008. Back in July, the game was delayed for the first time from its original November release to Ubisoft's fourth fiscal 2007 quarter -- January to March 2008.
In spite of the heavy news, Ubisoft mentioned that Assassin's Creed has sold over 1 million copies since its release last week. Don't forget to check out Eddie's review for the game if you haven't.
