Although it hasn’t been all that long of a wait, Bungie and Microsoft are finally ready to roll out brand new Halo 3 multiplayer maps via the Xbox Live Marketplace today: Rat’s Nest, Foundry, and Standoff.
Both Rat’s Nest and Foundry are interior based maps, with players unloading their favored firearm (or beating enemies down with it) on enemies in close quarters combat. The former allows for the use of vehicles within its enclosed spaces while the latter is filled with catwalks and a plethora of walls to take cover behind.
Standoff is the largest of the trio, with multiple bases located across the level (which should make for some epic Territories games), complete with underground tunnels that’ll surely let players to take a breather from the intense action going on outdoors.
Although 800 points may seem like a bit much for just three maps, keep in mind that they’ll eventually be available free of charge.

I played it for 2 weeks and got bored. I didn't finish the fight! : /
I don't get game time like I used to though. Give me H3 5 years ago and I'd be all into it!
What a waste. Everyone knows that there are only ever a few good MP maps in Halo....the probably wont get much use, and are WAY too expensive
How much is 800 points in real money?
'bout ten bucks.
Exactly 10 bux.
Oh, that will get use, and are too expensive, and might be the most sold DLC on XBL ever. A few people own this game...
Just cause the game doesn't do it for me doesn't mean I can't see how people have a blast playing it. People don't get it, and think it's like all the other FPS's out there... nothing feels like Halo. I don't even enjoy it and I can see that.
I wouldnt buy it, unless i got 800 MP for a gift. What a waste. then again, for the next 2 weeks the servers will be plagued with the maps. Lame...
The RvB video was funny. "Get them early, so you can own the noobs on December 26th!"
