Microsoft announced the start of pre-orders for its upcoming Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey. The pre-order program will offer exclusive bonus unlockable content. Hopefully the content will take the pain away from the game's U.S. release date on February 12th.
Details of the exclusive content remain a mystery other than "a download code for an additional mission and unlockable weapons." The content will be exclusive for only a few months, since Microsoft is planning to release the content for free on Xbox Live in spring 2008.
Here's the rundown of the game, in case you aren't familiar with it:
"From famed game designer Hironobu Sakaguchi of Mistwalker game studio and feelPlus Inc., and exclusively for the Xbox 360, "Lost Odyssey" is a next-gen RPG that takes gamers through multiple lifetimes in search of truth and justice. It is the story of Kaim, an immortal character who has lived more than 1,000 years and doesn't remember his past and doesn't know where his future lies."

This is like Abes World yeah?
Sounds like Planescape only not as good.
Yea its an RPG made by the guy who brought Final Fantasy to life. It has some high expectations. Hopefully it delivers. ;)
I am super excited about this game. But gaining an extra dungeon and weapon or whatever for preordering is dumb.

Umm, you lose if you are chained to a hunk of castle wall at the bottom of a moat? Hell of a way to live out your immortality. Do I win?
Yay! Amnesia AGAIN. Soon every game will be set in ww2 and feature an amnesiac lead character.
