December 13th GameTap releases

Category: PC, Posted: 12/13/2007 at 09:23PM CST by Billy Wang, Previews Editor

gametapIt's Thursday; I'm enjoying a nice snow day, so why don't you enjoy a nice GameTap update.

There are three new subscription games this week on GameTap. First up is a decent action/RPG called Seal of Evil, which was released in 2005 from Strategy First and Object Software. If anyone remembers Object Software's 2002 action/RPG Prince of Qin, Seal of Evil is its prequel.

Next up is a 2004 card game from Strategy First called Texas Hold 'Em Poker. If you wanted to get good at Texas Hold 'Em, here's your chance.. The last new subscription game is Brigade E5 New Jagged Union from Strategy First. This game was pretty terrible, unfortunately, so I would honestly skip this one.

In addition, the list of free-play titles has been expanded to 70, which equals to two new free-play titles this week. The two games are Rogue Trooper and Stuntman Seymour. For the full list of free-play games for this week, take a gander at the full story.

I think I'm gonna have to start paying more attention to GameTap. Psychonauts and a million other cool games for free you say?...

I knew a lot of people who loved brigade e5 but I could never understand the attraction myself. I'd rather just play Silent Storm or Jagged Alliance heh. But yeah gametap is getting more and more tempting overall.

From what I can see Gametap is free for access to 50 or so games or a gold account with access to 900+ games is 10$ a month or 60$ a year. So a pretty good deal all in all.
