DMC4 is one of those games that I am really looking forward to playing. I have been a fan of the series since the first one came out, and seeing the fourth one in full-blown HD glory is gonna be awesome.
So any news that I find and report on will no doubt make me giddy with anticipation, thankfully this story is no exception.
Famitsu recently released a few new screens featuring our protagonist against a colossal looking boss, one somewhat similar to God of War II's colossus battle.
How that actual battle will play out is a complete mystery, but either way it does look like we are up for a challenge. The DMC series is known for throwing at you the strangest of bosses, and in the latest installment you'll be face to face with more vicious, over the top bosses than ever before all while your eyes melt from it's HD beauty. Here are some of the pics showing off the new "colossus" type boss in the game.

Stunning : D
Yeah! This is my kind of boss battle!
I've never played this game in person, but I've heard really bad things, like "Worse than DMC2."
Plus, this is really just a kind of lame looking ripoff of Shadow of the Colossus. I'd be willing to be one hundred simolleans that this giant boss just swats at you, and you have to dodge it. Meanwhile his hand gets stuck and you have to run up the arm to hit the GIANT GLOWING OBVIOUS WEAKSPOTS.
If this is the case, then I say to thee Capcom...Where ist thine creativity.
Viewtiful, there's no way in hell that DMC4 will be worse than DMC2 (and I thought the sequel was all right for what it was).
I haven't played it myself, but to say that the inclusion of real-time style switching for Dante in addition to Nero's utilization of the Devil Bringer won't make for a compelling combat experience (which was exactly what DMC2 failed to provide), that just doesn't sound right to me.
