For you console Team Fortress 2 players, don't fret that you're going to miss out on the upcoming new TF2 maps that are heading to PC soon because you won't! They're heading to console too and will be free on release.
According to Eurogamer, they confirmed with Valve honcho Doug Lombardi that the two upcoming new maps for TF2, one of which is called cp_badlands, will be heading to consoles at some point in the future and will be free! The already-released new capture the flag remake of Well will head to consoles too.
In addition, Lombardi noted that there will be more Portal, yay! Portal snagged the #1 spot in GamerNode's top 10 games of 2007 along with picking up plenty of rave reviews, so to see more Portal on the way is good news to me!
"There'll be more Portal, for sure. But the details of that, to be honest, we're still working out. The only smart thing we did for Portal was to hire those seven kids and give them the support they needed to make the game."
But as us Valve fans know, it'll be awhile till the new Portal title comes out, same with Half-Life 2: Episode Three.

That is one sweet thing that they're doing for the console crowd. The Orange Box rocks and with the addition of this new downloadable content, it makes it an even better deal, which is hard to believe since it's already jampacked with value already.
Woo! More Portal!
Hmmm, as much as I loved Portal, I'd prefer Half-Life 2 Episode Three more.
Well, same here. But frankly, I'll take anything from Valve.
I think I'd prefer more portal. That Strider battle at the end of Ep2 thoroughly annoyed me and I got kinda fed up with it. Therefore, unless there will be no more such stuff in Ep3, I doubt I will burn with desire to play it.
lol, viktor, i loved that part, i wised it wouldnt end
"Hmmm, as much as I loved Portal, I'd prefer Half-Life 2 Episode Three more."
Well, of course, if you *had* to choose, but! We're getting both, so there's no need to state preferences:p
And yeah, the Strider battle was one of the best moments ever... Not to mention the deep impacting story elements to follow... HL2's saga is just about as top-notch as you can get. And Portal's a grand new game that I'd love to see more of. Rock on, Valve.
Ugh, I hated that Strider battle... Of course, I WAS playing the game at a friend's house on his 360, so there was likely a control-preference bias interfering with my reasoning.
