When I first played Max Payne on my PC back in 2001, I was certain that the game would be perfect for the big screen - if done properly. Here we are 7 years later, and the Max Payne movie is ready to begin filming.
On March 2nd, Mark Wahlberg will attempt to fill Max's shoes on the set in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Director John Moore will be at the helm of the production, having previously worked on films such as Behind Enemy Lines and Flight of the Phoenix.
I sincerely hope that the cast and crew do a good job on this one, because it'd be a shame to let such a great property go to waste at the box office just like so many game-to-film adaptations before it.

Considering his performance in the Bourne series MW is a great choice. Lets hope the script is up to scratch.

wasn't as good as the first one IMO. But still definitely worth playing.
@ bluseychris - Mark Wahlberg wasn't in the Bourne series. That was Matt Damon. Mark was in the Italian Job, Four Brothers, Shooter, and bunch of others I can't think of.
