FiringSquad is reporting on a recent Activision financial conference call and they revealed several new games that are in-development for its coming fiscal year, which begins on April 1st till March 2009.
First, Activision is planning two new Guitar Hero games. No other details were revealed other than that the company is trying to keep the two games a big secret. This may be related to this story of a suspected new Guitar Hero game that was mentioned today. The entire Guitar Hero franchise, since its release in 2005, has sold over 14 million copies worldwide combined.
Next, Activision is planning two new superhero games due later in its fiscal year (most likely this fall). The games will be a new Spider-Man game and the sequel to Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I'm especially happy about the Marvel Ultimate Alliance sequel because the first game was a blast (Brendon thought so too) and great to play with a few friends.
A new Tony Hawk game is in the works but Activision is planning quite a few changes to the franchise, most likely to compete with EA's skate. Late last month, EA revealed that "skate outsold Tony Hawk 2 to 1,", even though the latter was released on five platforms, three more than the former.
A new Call of Duty game will be released as well. Planned platforms include PS2, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. As of late January, Call of Duty 4 has sold over 7 million copies worldwide, so it's no doubt that more games will be pursued.
Lastly, the new James Bond game will be released this fall, which should be around the next film's release date. Activision acquired the video game license for James Bond from EA late last year.

SPider man, cool i guess
GUITAR HERO!!!!
Looking forward to MUA sequel. Captain America and Silver Surfer were my favs in that game. Even my girlfriend got into it (she rarely plays games). As for COD5, i picked up the demo for COD4 and liked it, I will probably buy it when I get done with HL2: Ep2. I'll be looking forward to this year.
damn dissapointed to see the COD switch back to older consoles being involved. unless they work their asses off, this will once again, make a crappy COD game
