So wht does every kid want on Christmas - a video game console, perhaps? Here's a cruel and unusual video clip of a kid who thought he was getting an Xbox 360, only to discover that his family was playing an evil, evil joke on him. Either this kid was a terror all year long, and this was his punishment, or he seriously has the worst, psychologically-torturing parents ever.
Since the video was made public, the folks over at Engadget have made an effort to get this kid the 360 he thought he was getting months ago. (PS: I love your hair, kid)

That was just wrong...His parents should be setup for public torture and video taped
Heh, one time my parents gave me a Playstation box with a rock in it.
Thankfuly, the joke was only cruel for a moment as the actual console was in their closet.
I like it how everyone was laughing, and the kid was just staring them down. But you know inside his head he was cursing up a storm.
This is like doctors giving you pills for a disease and then telling you they're M&Ms.
And on Christmas morning? To a kid? Christ. I hope Engadget can get the 360 to him, and show his tosspots of parents up.
This will scar the kid for life. What kind of twisted SOBs do this to a kid on Christmas? I'll bet he kills them all in their sleep.
Thats just sick. A jokes a joke, but thats to far. Ok, it might be ok if it was some other normal day, but on christmas morning! Poor lad looked emotionaly crippled. I don't understand how a parent can do that to there child!

...but only AFTER he gets the 360, then the world can blame it on videogames...
This is fucked up. I cant believe his parents.
One less snot-nosed kid playing Halo 3 on Live.
no offense, but maybe they are too poor to afford a 360?
They can afford the box, though? Really, where does one just stumble upon a 360 box?
This is the saddest video I have seen in a long time.... also, where the hell did these parents get an empty 360 box? Did they rob a display box from GameStop?
My mum did this to me once, with one of those Game boy advances that's really some bath gel container haha, then after the omgwtf shock was over I got the real platimum edition GBA, so it's a funny joke, as long as it's a joke unlike this video... >_>
heres a thought on how they got the box, they're called friends.
That is just too sick for words. Does anyone remember the "OMG NINTENDO SIXTY FOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!" kid? Can you imagine if his parents played the same prank on him and got that on video. Damn that would be funny. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFlcqWQVVuU
the mother told the kid they were too poor to afford a 360, but that's no reason to pull an awful prank like this. i mean this is just cruel. i genuinely felt bad for the kid. he was crying!!
well kudos to the folks over at engadget. i hope he got the 360
