I was never really a big StarCraft guy back in the day. There was just something infinitely more appealing to me about the faux-history that Age of Empires brought to the table, however StarCraft II is really getting me interested--this game is absolutely gorgeous.
Now if only I actually had a PC that could run this.
It's very modest in comparison to PC juggernauts like Crysis, but my PC would still chug-a-lug on this. Feel free to express to me what a mindless idiot I was for prefering AoE to StarCraft in the comments.

Yeah, saw this shaky cam thing at work, where's the direct tv version!! Finally however, the Zerg are revealed! Officially.
Yeah, I can't wait for the not-shaky-cam version either.
How can AoE III work fine on your comp? If it does, SC2 should work pretty well too. And yeah, the zerg are awesome, and now official! (like I didnt see this coming)
Dude you really missed out, because User mods on Starcrafg were the sh*t, nothing was funner.
i can tell ill be spending alot of time on the map making tool already lol
Zerg are gonna eat your face off.
The original starcraft was friggin amazing, and I don't even like strategy games!
Although it was insanely hard on the later levels...
I couldn't beat some of them even with show me the money! :(
"How can AoE III work fine on your comp?"
lol AoE III? No way, dude. I'm talking IN THE DAY. Age of Empires I and II. You guys had zerg rushes, but I had the far less known, but equally deadly, AoE villager rush.
It looks like the Ultralisks can burrow now. Or that is some other unit entirely. And where the hell is Kerrigan?
I remember a mod in AoE that basically put four people in a map with a shared courtyard, gave you tons of units/heroes, and let you go at it until only one stronghold survived.
Good ol' AoE. You're not alone, Andy, I never liked StarCraft either.
You guys remember Tower Defense and Bounds? Both those game types were fun as hell, Back in the Day i made the first Tag game, It was called TAG, that was my best work besides Iron Maiden Bound.
StarCraft for me was like AOE in space. I liked both games a lot. At one place I worked, all the coworkers would play AOE during lunch time. It got to be so fun that our supervisors started to join us in the games.
Zerg rush kekekekekeke
AoE was my first RTS... good times.
