This week's NA game releases: 3/23 to 3/29

crisiscoreOne of the notable game releases this week is the first expansion pack to Command & Conquer 3, titled Kane's Wrath for PC. Featuring a 13 mission Nod campaign and a Meta-warfare single player campaign, folks who pick up the expansion will get a code to enter the beta for Red Alert 3. Also the expansion will head to Xbox 360 in June; if you think RTS game handle well on consoles, take a gander at this.

Another big release is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for PSP; I'm sure a lot of FF fans have been clamoring all over this for awhile so the wait is finally over!

Serving as a prequel to FFVII, players will control Zack Fair and Cloud (as a lowly guard); other new features include a new battle system called Digital Mind Wave. The game sold 350,000 copies in one day in Japan, so I'm sure the reception in NA will match it.

Other notable game releases include Dark Sector for PS3 and Xbox 360, Universe at War: Earth Assault for Xbox 360 (PC review), Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 for PS2 and Viking: Battle for Asgard for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Here are this week's NA game releases:

Harvest Moon DS Cute
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword

Nintendo Wii:

Obscure: The Aftermath
Octomania
Opoona

PC:

Anything here look interesting? I never got into C&C, and Obscure, is well, obscure to me... :D

I am going to pick up Viking for the 360. I hope it does not suck.

Viking looks promising, but we'll have to see.

Dark Sector was fun from what I played at E3. I had no idea it was out this week; time to head down to GameStop.

Thanks for the tip, Brendon. I'll see if one of the guys at gamestop will let me fire up dark sector demo wise. (sometimes they let me try that. The trick is not asking to often)
