LucasArts has announced the dates for release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The game will launch on September 16 in the US, September 17 in Australia and September 19 in Europe.
The highly awaited game for Star Wars fans will have gamers going over to the Dark Side of The Force and all that goes along with it...mayhem, levitation, destruction and more.
Peter Hirschmann, VP of Product Development at LA said, "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is one of the most ambitious projects LucasArts has ever launched. The combination of a great new Star Wars story with revolutionary new technology and game play means more fun than you've ever had in the Star Wars universe. We can't wait until gamers get their hands on it this September."
SW: TFU will be using the Euphoria Engine, which simulates the nervous system of in-game characters. Send out a few blue flashes of Dark Force energy on your enemies and they'll writhe in pain and wiggle and react in unique individual responses instead of being programmed to specific animations. Now that's what we call fun.
But the real news behind this game is being Darth Vader's ‘secret apprentice." Who wouldn't want to stand next to Mr. Vader and learn from the master himself?

September?
Thats ages away.
9,999 bottles on the wall. 9,999 bottles. Take one down and pass it around, 9,998 bottles on the wall...
I just hope it'll be released on PC as well. I'm still waiting for the next Jedi Knight style game.
As far as I know is on the PC now. I can't wait that long though.
I just hope they fix the whole "ragdolls grab things!" so it doesn't look ridiculously dumb and more natural.
Oooooh shiny. Although September release?
PC? Well if you look around on game sites there is nothing saying its coming for pc... but its like with many other games, when the producers want even more money they port for pc :p though the result isnt always that good
Dude this game right now is consoles only, no PC, which leads me to say to Lucasarts, "FU aholes." Making me spend 300 - 400 bucks to buy a console just to play this game.
Lets hope they port it right? this game better not suck.
