GTA IV: Which version will dominate?

April 29th. On that day the long awaited blockbuster title, Grand Theft Auto IV, will be unleashed upon the gaming world. From recent reports, GTA IV will have no problems selling out.
What some people are wondering about is which version of GTA IV will be more popular...the Xbox 360 version or the PS3 version of the game?
Microsoft and Sony aren't taking any chances and are actively promoting their versions of the game so as to gain as much market share as possible. Over in the UK, retail outlet HMV is offering 1000 Microsoft Points to sweeten the deal for those who opt for the Xbox 360 edition.
The PS3 version of GTA IV is outselling the 360 version by a large margin at UK's Asda stores. "Both titles have generated great interest on the Asda website, with strong pre-orders, and the PS3 version is selling three times that of 360, which is surprising and not in line with what we'd expect," said Duncan Cross of Asda.
Here in the States, pre-orders for the Xbox 360 GTA IV has the lead over the PS3. While the PS3 doesn't offer the exclusive DLC that will be available for the Xbox 360, some are expressing the idea that going with the PS3 version is the "safer" bet as far as having an intact game machine after the obvious extended game time racked up with GTA IV. Or in other words, no fear of RRoD.
Regardless of whether Microsoft or Sony wins the GTA IV Wars, one winner is certain to come out way on top of all of this...Take-Two.

I'm gonna say MS. Thats my bet anyway.
That has to be one of the best endings to a story i have heard in a long time.
360 for me
I want to see how the ps3 multiplayer stacks up. Guess I'll find out on the 29th. I'm betting I'll like the 360 online better. Then there are the graphic and frame rate comparisons. Good thing I have the 30th off too.
I would have gone with the 360, just because i hate the ps controller. Though ill think it will sell more on ps3 anyways, its a ps game probably almost all ps fans love the games :p

The install base for the Xbox 360 is 18 Million as of February 18th 2008.
The install base for the Playstation 3 is 10.49 Million as of January 1st 2008.
Gee, I wonder which group of hardcore gamers are going to outbuy the other group of hardcore gamers.
