Whenever I see any portable console manufactured by a fan online, it makes me want to hit the tech section of my apartment and get to work building something cool for myself. Today's handheld creation is a huge brick of a Sega Dreamcast that features a design resembling Nintendo's Gameboy Micro at about 15 times the size. The back has a hinged cover that flips up to reveal the guts of the system, along with the cd drive, and the whole thing runs on either a 12 volt battery or DC power. It looks awesome, and more importantly, it works.

wow. Althought i must note that there appears to be no VM reader. You'd have to start a new game every time. Notta problem for some portable Crazy Taxi, if you've decided to shun the 'fare wars' port.
not quite as slick as teh guy who built a PC into an original gameboy.
still loud as ever i see ;) thats pretty cool though. is this the guy who made the portable snes/playstation too?
Wow shows alot to be able to build that, I thought he mentioned he had a memory card reader for it?
That's awesome, lol. Too bad he made the thing so bulky and unwieldy, though. I would love to have a portable Dreamcast if I could... I still play that system like it's 1999.
Good lord that's a box!
