If there's any game I'm looking forward to playing this console generation, it's Resident Evil 5. Utilizing the capabilities of the current generation of hardware, it is sure to build off of what was a nearly perfect gaming experience in Resedent Evil 4.
This newest trailer only augments my desire to play the game, although the overall brightness of the footage is somewhat disarming to a seasoned Residet Evil-er. It's almost more frightening to find yourself vulnerable in broad daylight. Anyway, that's enough out of me; take a look at this lengthy and revealing trailer:

A MAZING
i wanted to see zombies, thats what got me hooked on this game in the first place. but after playing part 4 you dont always need zombies.
the graphics/lighting OMG OMG FRICKEN AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
N'Gai Croal won't be happy. Again.
Sweet.....
Hmmm... Las Plagas again?
The Las Plagas are at it again. Right along with African Dr. Salvador. Sure it's pretty... But it's looking to be 4 all over again...
id pay for the same game play but diff story, better graphics, diff characters on a resident evil game any day
Oh, don't get me wrong. I'll be buying this regardless. I just meant I miss the atmosphere of previous REs... They were terrifying, not knowing when something was going to show up or get up. But 4 just didn't have that, it's all "Hey! He's right there! ZERG RUSH!" And 5 just seems the same way.
Looks like RE is going to do it again. What a sexy game.
the onyl thing that makes no sense is how are you supposed to take out 50 guys with a handgun...
@kindgalaxy
N'Gai was never mad, he just had his opinion about it and the interwebz blew it all out of proportion
Nurse Salvador FTW!
This + co-op = the one reason I care about RE.
Well, that and RE4. It was a survival horror game, but it didn't suck! And so what if it wasn't scary? None of the other ones were scary, either.
I don't see why 4 wasn't carrying over the same atmosphere to people, just because more things attacked you at once (and, in fact, were smart about it, attacking in groups with some strategy, etc.), but regardless of that: this game looks to be awesome in every way. I hope they release it to PC without the mess that was the RE 4 port, or else, that I can get me a 360 by the release.
id love this to be on pc :O not having a ps3 or 360 :(((((((((((
idk, i want zombies again though.
