E3: PS3 exclusive promises 256 man multiplayer

People get excited when they hear about 64 person multiplayer capability. But how about 256 online players in a game? Sony's PS3 exclusive, MAG (Massive Action Game) promises to do just that.
MAG will feature squads of eight players each, which will allow up to 256 players at one time for combat missions.
A short video was presented during the Sony presser, which showed the game off in a modern day combat zone. The troops were on foot and were hit by an air strike.
No other details were released but hungry MP fans will be keeping an eye on this one.

Wow.
I've played in a 256 player CS game once, it was nuts. Grenade spam all over, constant firefights, like a real war. And that was on a map with one route from the two spawns, with direct LOS from either side.
Somehow, DO WANT FOR PC OMGOT.
