Capcom announced some upcoming freebies for its third-person action game Lost Planet: Extreme Condition today. On July 20th, owners of the PC version will receive an update containing the four multiplayer maps that were released for the Xbox 360 version in two separate map packs.
The PC map pack will contain Radar Field, Island 902, Hive Complex and Trial Point. In addition, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download these maps too for free on July 20th.
The PC update will also include three new playable characters: Joe (from Lost Planet), Frank West (from Capcom’s Dead Rising) and our favorite blue man, Mega Man. Lastly, the update will fix bugs and contain various gameplay additions such as new view modes, multiplayer fixes and a movie mode to view all the game’s cut scenes back to back. Xbox 360 owners will get their own patch at the end of the month that’ll contain connection fixes.
