Remember the mod for GTA IV that turned Niko’s third person rampaging into first person mayhem? As explained by PC Gamer, this and other mods have been made possible through the magic of the ASI loader and modders like Alexander Blade. But first person was only the beginning.
In what is probably the most out-of-place mod for GTA IV to date (while simultaneously being the most fun), Niko is armed with a pistol that manipulates gravity. However, it does appear that the manipulation is reserved only for vehicles, but that doesn’t stop those vehicles from interacting with everything else. Namely pedestrians. It epitomizes the ideas of wanton violence that have long been the appeal as well as the parental bane of the GTA series. And though the mod may be a little glitchy, hours could easily be lost to this new game of Half-Life 2 meets True Crime.
If you’re not convinced, just watch the whole video, especially the part with the ambulance. Carnage ahoy.
