That other MMORPG, Guild Wars, the one that everyone forgets about since it is so completely eclipsed by the might of WoW, has officially sold its four millionth copy.
It’s amazing how the lack of a monthly fee will attract prospective gamers.
The publisher was not forthcoming about exactly how many of those accounts are still active today, so don’t go thinking that number means there are four million active players.
Guild Wars is now able to challenge the might of the little known Barbie MMORPG which has over four million subscribers. However, they’ve got a long way to go before they can match WoW’s user base.
