Illinois Wastes Cash, Losing ESA Suit

The State of Illinois, as the result of a recent court ruling which declared the Safe Games Illinois Act unconstitutional, has been ordered to pay the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) a grand total of $510,528.64 in attorney fees. Though gamers everywhere can rejoice in the fact that another one of these bills has been struck down by the judicial system, politicians, like Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who’ve helped spearhead the crusade against violent video games, will not be held accountable for their actions. Instead, the money needed to pay off the legal expenses will be taken
