More Cheap Games for Xbox 360 Thanks to New Platinum Hits

If you’re an Xbox 360 fan on a tight budget or one who loves a good bargain, good news has come from Microsoft regarding the release of additional titles to the Platinum Hits line. What this means is that you’ll be seeing a new stripe around the top of the case and, more importantly, a cheaper price tag.

Starting March 16, eight new games will become Platinum Hits members. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Burnout Revenge, Call of Duty 2, Dead or Alive 4, Fight Night Round 3, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Table Tennis, and Top Spin 2 will carry a new MSRP of $29.99 each.

Microsoft’s Jeff Bell said of the new additions, "It… ensures that existing and new gamers alike can get the most from their Xbox 360 by owning a great library of blockbuster hits. So if you missed playing a game the first time around, now there is a great reason to pick it up."

At half the original price, Bell’s reasoning makes sense for those who have waited on a price drop to pick up any of these titles. With top-notch titles like Ghost Recon and Burnout Revenge available at this price, there’s no excuse for not adding to your collection.
