PlayStation 2013 – Bungie’s ‘Destiny’ to receive exclusive content on PlayStation platforms

Late last week Bungie officially unveiled Destiny to the world, its ambitious multi-platform project dubbed as a “shared-world shooter.” Just what this means in terms of how the game will function isn’t yet known, but Bungie staff was present at Sony’s glitzy PlayStation 2013 event yesterday to share some more game footage and some more platform details.

Bungie’s own Jason Jones, co-founder of Bungie and Project Director of Destiny, took to the stage to confirm the games launch on the PlayStation 4. Destiny will launch on the PS4 at the same time as the PlayStation 3, which is assumed to be the same time as its Xbox 360 launch. Sony’s PlayStation platforms will, however, be receiving exclusive content.
