It’s no secret that gaming magazine sales are slumping lately. It’s also no secret that the world is primed and ready for Super Smash Bros Brawl. So if you were one of the aforementioned slumping gaming publications like, oh, Electronic Gaming Monthly, what would you do?
The answer is: exploit its popularity!
This month, EGM will be running 12 — you read that correctly, 12 — different covers on its latest issue. Each cover will be adorned with a large portrait of a different Smash Bros superstar.
The characters receiving covers will be: Mario, Link, Pikachu, Sonic, Donkey Kong, Wario, Kirby, Pit, Samus Aran, Yoshi, Solid Snake, and Bowser.
The issue will ship to news stands on Jan. 15.
