The GamerNode Show 70: Journey of a Thousand Tiles

Feudum

Eddie and Bianca plan a city, explore the wilderness, and build an empire in this episode of The GamerNode Show.

Eddie Inzauto and Bianca Figueroa-Santana review and discuss the city-planning, tile-placement drafting game Subdivision by Lucas Hedgren and Bezier Games. They also give their early critical impressions of the wilderness exploration tile-laying game Lost Valley: The Yukon Goldrush 1896 by Tobias, Roland, and Johannes Goslar and Pandasaurus Games. And finally, they offer a first-look preview of the economic, area control, kingdom-building game that Eddie has informally dubbed a “5i Game” – Invest, Improve, Influence, Incorporate, Intimidate. Feudum, by Mark K. Swanson and Odd Bird Games, is currently on Kickstarter, and the staff at GN have been enjoying a prototype copy. As always, feel free to drop us a line on Twitter or via email!
