Assassin's Creed has gone gold!

Assasins Creed gone Gold!Ubisoft has finally announced that the long awaited Assassin’s Creed has gone gold and will be in stores on November 13th, just under 3 weeks from now.

The game is shaping up to be one of the blockbusters of the year, with gamers eagerly anticipating the release of the title on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Producer of Assassin’s Creed, Jade Raymond, was extremely happy to announce the news. "This is a huge event for the team. Our biggest reward will be everyone having a lot of good solid fun," she said. "We’ve been working very hard for nearly four years to make Assassin’s Creed a reality and now there is a confirmed date when players will get to experience the results of our efforts."

The game is certainly shaping up to be an absolute cracker with completely interactive cities populated by hundreds of people who will realistically react to the way the player acts. For example, creating a scene in a crowded market place or climbing walls will often attract unwanted attention from bystanders and guards.

Ubisoft Montreal is also promising extreme historical accuracy, with all of the cities in the game being distinctive models of real world locations. All of the mission targets in the game are also said to be historic leaders who died in 1191, the year in which the game is set.

And for all the PC fans out in Nodeland, never fear, the PC version is still on track for release in early 2008!
