Assassin’s Creed III for PC doesn’t come out until November, but Ubisoft has released the specs for the upcoming version. It should be noted that only specific graphics cards are supported.

Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c-compliant (5.1 surround sound recommended)
DVD-ROM: Dual-layer drive

On the Ubisoft Support website it is mentioned that “laptop versions of these cards may work, but are not supported.”
