Benheck's Access Controller

Access ControllerFor anyone who has ever desired a single-handed Xbox, Playstation 2, or Playstation 3 controller (either out of actual necessity, sheer laziness, or the unrelenting urge to eat and drink while playing) this is for you.

Ben Heckendorn, affectionately known by his Xbox Live gamertag, "Benheck," has created what he calls the Access Controller, a device that allows players to manipulate all of the apparati found on a traditional controller with only one hand.

The unit is place on any surface, where each of five different modules (left analog stick, right analog stick, face buttons, shoulder buttons, directional pad) is accessible by a single finger. Maybe the most impressive aspect of the controller is that these modules can easily be custom-arranged, based on user preference.

The final unit will be manufactured by eDimensional, although no release date or price point have been announced.
