According to an anonymous GameStop employee, the retail giant has received shipments of in-store posters depicting a black Wii bundle with Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii MotionPlus, and the console itself for $199.99. Instructions are to hold the posters until May 4th.
The May 4th date represents the earliest the advertising materials may be used, so it may or may not conclusively indicate that the bundle will be available for purchase on that day. Knowing retail, however, one can assume that the company wouldn’t advertise a money-saving, bonus-game-packing, accessory-augmented package any earlier than it has to, so anyone on the prowl for a new Wii can be fairly confident that this thing will be sitting in your living room come the 4th.
