AIAS

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’ (AIAS) board of directors has gained a valuable member with the addition of Frank Pearce of Blizzard Entertainment.

Martin Rae, president of the AIAS thinks Pearce’s experience will be a valuable addition to the board saying, “Blizzard Entertainment’s games, their community and their management team epitomize success in the game business and we look forward to having Frank’s valuable perspective on the Board.”

Pearce brings 20 years of experience including the development of the World of Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo series as well as overseeing World of Warcraft‘s first three expansion packs.

Being added to the board of directors is an exciting move for Pearce who said, “I’ve always appreciated the Academy’s commitment to advancing the gaming medium and fostering creativity within our industry.”
