The people at Firaxis and 2K Games have announced that there will indeed be a demo arriving for upcoming and highly-anticipated strategy game Civilization V. The demo will be arriving this September before the full game is released.
"Many of you have written on the forums and emailed in questions about whether or not there will be a public demo for Civilization V," reads the post about the announcement on the game’s official website. "Well, today I am excited to get to tell you that yes, there will be!"
No details on the demo have been given yet, but the post states that information regarding a concrete release date and just what will be available in the demo is coming soon. Civilization V is set to release for the PC on September 21 in North America and September 24 in Europe.
