Croteam reveals new "think-before-you-shoot" game

SeriousSamLast week, Serious Sam developer, Croteam, revealed they were working on a new unannounced title. While the official announcement still hasn’t been released, details of the game were revealed today.

It will be a "military tactical-action shooter" with "fast-paced modern combat action and think-before-you-shoot game play." The new title will be powered by the Serious Sam 3 engine. In addition, the newly formed independent publisher, Gamecock Media Group, will publish the game for PC and "specific consoles" for 2009.

The key executives of Gamecock were previously part of another independent publisher named Gathering of Developers who published Croteam’s breakout title, Serious Sam in 2001. Take-Two Interactive later acquired GoD and was relaunched as the new company, Gamecock.
