Dev diary talks camera, lighting in Splinter Cell Blacklist

Sam is back, and so are his interrogations.

In Ubisoft’s latest Splinter Cell Blacklist developer diary, Art Director Scott Lee explains the team’s use of visual techniques to create an overarching aesthetic style to complement Sam Fisher’s stealthy exploits.

The game will focus heavily on the use of light and shadow, and will incorporate a physical camera floating in the game world to capture lens flare, water droplets, and other visual effects to draw the player closer into the action.
