To the dismay of many who attended Sony’s E3 2005 press conference, Killzone 2’s misleading pre-rendered footage was created for the sake of letting everyone know what they were aiming for.
Soon after, Sony made a daring promise to everyone that the quality of what was seen in that teaser would be achieved in real time. Today, they delivered on that promise. (hit "full story" to see the trailer)
Quite simply, everything was just flat out phenomenal: the characters models were exquisitely detailed, the animations were top notch, and the intensity of the storm raging above the war torn city streets of the Helghast homeworld as gunfire was being exchanged from both opposing forces was nothing short of jaw dropping.
