Dragon Age II developer diary delves into narrative

You will play out the legend of Hawke.

Dragon Age II has a new developer diary out that centers on the game’s story and BioWare’s intriguing way of telling it.

Lead writer David Gaider, lead designer Mike Laidlaw, senior writer Jennifer Hepler and executive producer Mark Darrah all discuss how the player will get to shape the legend of Hawke based on their choices. They also elaborated on the game being the world’s first interactive frame narrative and how the landscapes of Kirkwall will change over the decades-long narrative.
