Game Kudos has just uploaded some footage of Gears of War 3 in action from the EuroGamer Expo show floor.
In the video, the person playing is on the side of the Horde, but not as the creatures we’re accustomed to controlling. He starts out as a wretch, but eventually switches to a new enemy called a butcher.
Throughout the video, the player is not fighting against COGs, but the stranded (the civilian militia type people), instead.
It was recently announced that Epic Games would be delaying the release of Gears of War 3 until Fall 2011.
So while we’ll have to way longer than we originally anticipated, we’ve at least got a taste of what to expect when the game finally drops next year.
