India goes LIVE! on November 5th

Xbox LiveOn November 5th, India will finally get the chance to utilize Microsoft’s beloved LIVE services. Both Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live will be available, and the country will be included in the Asian marketplace region.

A 12-month subscription will cost 2200 rupees ($55), and 1600 MS points will cost 1070 rupees ($27), making the service slighty more expensive than in the US (where a one-year subscription = $49.99 and 1600 MS points = $20).

New to Live, just for the Indian market, will be educational content for school-age children and a vast cache of Bollywood productions.
