Liam Neeson to provide voice work for Fallout 3

Bethesda Softworks announced today that acclaimed actor Liam Neeson (Schindler’s List, Star Wars: Episode I, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Batman Begins) has been cast to provide voice work for the upcoming RPG Fallout 3. Neeson will play the role of the main character’s father. Todd Howard, Executive Producer of Fallout 3, stated, "This role was written with Liam in mind, and provides the dramatic tone for the entire game. Liam is absolutely amazing to work with." There’s currently no word if actor Ron Perlman will return as the iconic narrator, the role he voiced for Fallout and Fallout 2.

In addition, the Fallout 3 website has been updated with a new piece of concept art which shows a destroyed White House. From the looks of this, it seems to confirm that the game will primarily take place on the East Coast of the United States, as opposed to the usual setting of the West Coast. The teaser trailer is planned for release on June 5.
