The playable roster of Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is certainly fleshing itself out quite nicely. Last week during Gamescom in Germany, Capcom announced two more faces to the mix, one from Marvel and one from Capcom.
The Marvel reveal was none other that Dormammu of the Dark Dimension!
And from Capcom, it’s henshin-a-go-go time with Viewtiful Joe!
Both of these fighters were hinted at before, Dormammu in the extended E3 trailer, and Viewtiful Joe in the shadows of the Comic-Con character reveal trailer. While the surprise factor wasn’t in the announcement, one need only remember that Capcom wasn’t actually on the Gamescom show floor, so it wouldn’t make sense to throw out a huge surprise. Tokyo Game Show on September 16th, however? Different story. We’ll see what Capcom has up their sleeve in a month.
